Ruth Schofield ~ 'SPIRIT OF JOY'

This year's 'Applause' winners from the Hamilton Booth Centre are regular and dedicated volunteers who have been singing together for approximately twelve years.

They have volunteered throughout many of these years on a monthly basis at the Booth Centre Chapel services.

The 'Spirit of Joy' singers consist of six women from Compass Point Church in Burlington. Three of these members were part of the original group. They perform in various locations, retirement homes, and churches.

Unfortunately, only Ruth Schofield of the Spirit of Joy singers was able to join us at the annual Hamilton area Volunteer Appreciation NIght held at Winterberry Heights Salvation Army Church on Monday, April 7, 2008.
